Do you suffer from excessive sweating (Hyperhidrosis)? There are a lot of people who do.

This device is just as good as one costing hundreds of pounds/dollars/euros etc and costs virtually nothing to make. Many people have used one of these machines for the sweating on their hands and feet and had excellent results.

I know it might look a bit cranky but it's practically free - if you're not sure, Google Iontophoresis and Hyperhidrosis :)

Let us know if you made this and how it worked for you :)

  • can i use this on my face???

  • @MrGrownMan8819 No, but you can buy iontophoresis machines that will treat your face. If you want to message me via the forum I can help point you in the right direction. I can't post links on here.

  • Hi, thanks for posting this video! Question: how were you able to use the alligator clips with the AC-DC adapter? Usually, they have a barrel plug, right? I don't know much about electricity, but if you could shed some light, I'd appreciate it!

  • @neocarpetbagger Hello - you're welcome! I'm afraid I don't know anything about electricity myself. I think the best thing to do is to find an electrician's/diy forum (shouldn't be too difficult!) in your country - they'll give you the best advice. Not much point asking me, ask me anything you like about computers but I get through a kettle every six months for some reason! I'm sure it'll be a nice easy one for someone who knows what they're doing.

  • small question : i do it once and i dont get sweaty again or i do it every day?

  • @Colville1997 Hi there, sorry it's taken a while to reply, I didn't get a notification this time. If you come over to the forum I'll be able to send you a factsheet - it tells you how to use the Iontophoresis and get the best out of it.

  • @ilovemuchalls thankyou! i realised i was doing it a bit high on my hands :) oopss hahahh

  • Just asking....what volts do you recommend ive got one of those ones that you plug into the wall and that goes up to 24V

i need it for my hands and feet

So far ive been doing 12 on my hands and 15 on my feet

One day i forgot to adjust the notch and i think it was 24 volts on my hands i cant really remember but that was the day it started itching hahahah oops... :/

yeah so what voltages does everyone recommend?

  • @hanahisbabo Hi there, iontophoresis can do that, yes. You can try applying a little vaseline to your hands where the water-line is when you put your hands into the water. You can also try using bottled water instead of tap water. Good luck!

  • hey! its my 2nd day doing this...IS IT MEANT TO MAKE MY HANDS KINDA ITCHY AFTERWARDS? im scared its gonna escalate in a week or two and its going to end up hurting......

  • @VerySweatyBetty Cool, thanks =)
