I've just noticed, (I havn't got any messages since the 3.0 update was released) my Nintendo Wii slot flashes differently from before the official 3.0 update. First I was horrified because I thought my Wii was broken, but later on I'd find out, what it was all about.
Here's a little video that illustrates it.

  • Are you stupid or something? I was not wondering how to turn the blue LED off. Before that update there was another kind of rytme the LED light blinked..

  • when the wii illuminates in the dark, it's eerily beautiful :)

  • did you check your mii plaza? the light may also flash when somebody sends you a mii

  • me neither...it sucks because it could be like, 3 in the morning and the frickin thing will wake me up...

  • I see you have wifi

  • that happened to my wii too i tought it was broken

  • if you got your wii on standby all the time(yellow light) without ever switching it off it can be screwed. Wii connect24 uses very LITTLE power, yes I know, but it adds up after a while and messes up with your wii because in standby the fan is always off yet the wii is recieving data. Do your wii a favour and let it rest a while. Thats what I do and my wii is as quiet as a radio with no speakers(sorry for the horrible simile).

  • I CAN'T SLEEP BECAUSE OF THIS

  • mine doesent do that its a bright blue light then it gets darker then lighter again it doesent flicker but works perfect
