@lexusnut You can get a optical drive you need a 9.5 to 12.5MM drive for a laptop, nerest ones use SATA, old use IDE

Hi. I have the same mac,, you just showed us you opening the mac, but did the glass damage when you opened it, did it come off smoothly, and if the imac is openable, does that mean i can add in newer hardware??? like a better graphics card??? can you please write back with some info,,

Does the suction cup need to be placed by the CD ROM area?? Or you can you place it anywhere and take out glass? This is awesome!!
