Wow. I thought this was Chicken Run the movie.

My wife asked the same question. I'll make another video and show you what I did.

That's really useful - I am on verge of giving up with my chickens - they escape so much. The only query with these pens is 'where's the door?' to get in and out to clean, collect eggs, feed etc.

Thank you so much, I watched your video and you immediately helped me install my own chicken wire fencing. I just built it and it only took me,1 hr 12mins. Now I just need to tighten it up a bit, and test it.

@mariare0 Terrific! Anybody with chickens needs to build a chicken run... It really blesses chickens to have free range... It also blesses the soil with organic fertilizer... Glad I could help!!!

@gotshaklee You're welcome! I hope it helps... I really need to create a video that shows how I make my gates... I have several throughout the length of my various runs... Peace!

Cody, how do you get into your chicken run?

@gotshaklee Hi, you need to choose a spot anywhere along the perimeter of your run where you want a gate. At this point, you need to thread two furring strips down through the chicken wire one hole apart. Snip the wire between these two furring strips. Pound a post right where these two ends meet. Use baling wire to attach these back to the steel post. A more elaborate gate can be made, but this is the easiest.
