Over 50,000 homeless cats wander the streets of Winnipeg. Shelters are at capacity and the city is at a loss as to how to deal with the problem. But a number of dedicated animal lovers are doing all they can to protect these abandoned animals.

  • VERY well done! I hope this video reaches lots of people!

  • This is fantastically well done. Thank you, I'm going to show it to everyone i know to help get this news out.

  • Wonderfully done.

  • Both of my cats were from the humane society. They had both been strays when they were little and were marked as violent. They were both complete softies. It's a shame cats just get such a bad wrap. Sometimes they just need some love and a second chance.

  • This needs to be shown on local Winnipeg news stations. ALL of them.

What I'll never understand is if the issue were feral dogs the city and residents from all areas would be chomping at the bit to take care of the issue. Cats are no different than dogs, we humans domesticated both species and now we need to step up and take care of them. ALL of them.

  • Bravo Sandy. Well done!
