4:30 a.m. hotel fire alarm

Turned out to be an alarm malfunction. But there's no way you could sleep through this in-room thing for the half hour it rang.

I remember years ago when i was sleeping in a hotel in Miami beach..i was awakened by that awful noise..not the type in this video either..like a screechng noise..holy cow. was no fire that i kew about..but it was so damn early in the mornimg

i had this happen to me before. i just got my dinner at the hotel and then it flashed and went off annnnnnooooooyyyyiiiiinnnnnggg­gllyy for a long time and i sat right next to the alarm hoping it wouldnt go off but it did . oh and my food became cold and they wouldnt refund me ir even warm it up instead they sat we are closed here is a togo box. we had no microwave and we would be there for a whole week. that night i get a call at 4:45am saying one of the cooks in the kitchen hit the electricbox

Apparently, you are technically reporting a fire emergency in the building the second you pull the alarm, or a smoke detector goes off.
