To Irregularpulse and themkjm. Why is it Illegal? You pay a deposit for the keg in which they keep if you dont return it? Is it illegal to rent a movie from blockbuster or hollywood video and not return it, then be charged $20 for not returning a used copy of Bambi, then taking that dvd (which you paid for (technically) ) and using it as a coaster for your Beer?

Sorry jibscunt, no matter how much they can "afford" it it is still illegal to destroy a keg that has not been decommissioned personally by the brewery stamped on the side.
Whether you give a crap is another thing, but it IS illegal.

its not illegal, dont listen to this moron below me, brewing companies make millions of dollars a year and can afford to lose a few kegs.The ones he is talking about probably needed replacing anyway.
