i am sorry to have been unkind. please let me to refine my comments.

this video makes a point of showcasing parsons students who are not familiar with the definitions of basic terms.

what is the take-away message here?

are these terms not valuable, and so these students don't care to learn about them? or are these terms important, but parsons students lazy?

lang students do tend to stereotype parsons students as people who are intellectually lazy. this video would affirm that stereotype?

get a sense of humor dude!!!!! we made this video for fun, to laugh at, yes its over edited, no one was unfamiliar with the terms- it was a simple commentary on how those terms are over used in art schools...there is no "take-away" message. quit over-analysing and live a little.

besides...if you weren't "intellectually lazy" yourself don't you think you'd be at a school with a more respectable intellectual reputation than the new school?

i graduated parsons in the 1980s. obviously they're not as selective as they used to be.
