telling him that the separation of church and state prevents a student from bringing the Bible to school, the teacher was incorrect. A teacher has to be careful about bringing a religious book to school, but students have no such restriction. The student is not an agent of the state and is welcome to bring the religious text of choice... as long as they don't disrupt the class they are good to go.
