Part 3 Oro de Cortez

El Oro de Cortez is a documentary about illegal fishing in the Sea of Cortez. Through interviews with government officials, scientists and fisherman we expose the huge amounts, thousands of tonns, of Dorado that are illegally exported to the United States each year from the port city of Guaymas, Sonora Mexico, in violation of American and Mexican Law. Also exposed in this documentary are the tremendous number of marine turtles that are shipped off to the black market each year due to the illegal fishing of Dorado.

exelente documental !

lastimas que no solo esas sean las especies en peligro, sino que estamos acavando con todas las especies en general, cada vez hay menos de todo.

esperemos que con este tipo de documentales la gente tome un poco de conciencia y cambie .

This is very well done and many facets of this problem are presented in such a short time and with an excellent impact. I will be showing this to our local captains in Loreto so they will see that the problem is being addressed and something will be done. At this point they are wondering how many more years they'll be able to fish.
