AMERICAN WOMEN FOR INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING -- LAURA BUSH THE 2010 INTERNATIONALISM AWARD WINNER

Each year the American Women for International Understanding present their Internationalism Award to a women who supports understanding between people around the globe. This 2010 recipient is Laura Bush former first Lady of the United States.

The 2009 Internationalism Award was presented Doris Buffett, President and Founder of The Sunshine Lady Foundation which has distributed over $80 million world wide.

The 2008 Internationalism Award was presented to the Secretary of State's International Women of Courage Award recipients. These courageous women from 8 countries represent the best in efforts to promote understanding world wide.
