I have seen some instructional videos for kettlebell training done by people who don't know how to do them. Those that can't do shouldn't teach. Hope this helps.

Oh yeah and don't forget on the downswing load the glutes and the hamstrings

  • What weight was the KB in the video ? How do I determine what weight I should use ?

  • @jdagger18 usually 16kgs for beginner males and 8kgs - 12kgs for beginner females

  • @rockbodyfitness: when I do my breathing like you I begin to hyperventilate, after which I have to stop, 'cause I'm getting dizzy; is this normal? Can I breathe half as fast or will that ruin the exercise? Thx!

  • @marveladeguitar the breathing gets your abs involved in the motion to support your back. it won't ruin the exercise...it just won't be as good. try to not take as deep of a breath each time instead

  • why do i keep hurting my lower back?

  • @hannahr201 it's a very subtle thing to get the hips to lead the motion. honestly you might just want to go get your form checked by an RKC

  • I did my first kettlebell workout today. My hamstrings are completely broken (in the good way) and I was surprised at how much it taxed my cardio. We were doing circuits and I was gasping for air. Good stuff.

  • Man I used to be so in shape when I was youger now I´m 40 and overweight, this kettlerbell training can reduce my belly a little?,I use to be 32 size now I´m 38
