Final kilometers of an interesting Paris - Roubaix 2011. Johan Vansummeren (Garmin-Cervélo) rides towards a surprising victory, Fabian Cancellara (Leopard Trek) counter attacks and picks up second, while early escaper Maarten Tjallingii (Rabobank) takes a nice third place. The happy reaction of especially Tjallingii, normally a helper in his team, afterwards (at 09:30) are worth waiting for.

Commentary by Mart Smeets and Maarten Ducrot of Dutch broadcaster NOS.

  • Fabian Cancellara is the greatest sportsman on this planet. The way he accepts defeat is just like no other. Greatest sportsmanship ever. Such a lovable guy.
