Original Vs Dub Opinion: I truly think the Japanese Version is hilarious compared to the English Version which, no matter how clever converting the English speaking guests into French, was horribly done. Not only did Serena make no sense, they downplayed the drunk idea with her just having too much juice (Yeah, ok.).

  • Everyone knows (and this isn't a joke), Serena and Usagi are two TOTALLY different people.

  • In my opinion, JAPANESE is way better (no offence) since its hilarious and its the real one...

  • My sister gets like that when she has too much sugar

  • So True, but I love both of them. Also, it seem that each voice actress brings a different personality to Serena.

  • Lol well the english version was meant to target a younger age group (5-8 year olds I'd say)then the Japanese version which was meant to target Japanese girls around 14 and older so saying 'juice' in the english version makes more sense and when I was that age I loved Sailor Moon. It's only now looking back that I realize just how corny the english version is... The Japanese is much better in my opinion nowadays :P

  • Sry but the German dub is even more better.

  • @SailorMikuMoon yes but they are both funny :D

  • my fav was japenese she drunk omg lol!!!!!!!

  • @Cerridwen247 I do realize this, that was my point. Sailor Moon was not Americanized, it was westernized. Western cultures were what influenced the dub, not American. I grew up during the time that was influencing Sailor Moon, and I can assure you, it wasn't American customs alone, it was all of western customs, which in general aren't that different, as they derive from the same original influence.

  • @Dragoon11792 You do realize there is a difference between Westernization and Americanization right? Because Western nations all have different customs and cultures

  • @Cerridwen247 I wasn't starting a fight, just pointing out that there is a difference in what those words mean. People apparently do care, because they all the time blame America for something that isn't it's fault. It isn't any country's fault, but especially not America. Somebody doesn't like being wrong do they? ^.^

  • @Dragoon11792 seriously you are starting a fight about wording? Get a damn life. No one really cares where DiC and CWi are from.
