NBA Live 2003 - Suns vs Celtics, 1975-76

New version. No low post moves, it's cheating. You can always get a dunk over the defender with your centre in this game and I'd rather not use it at all.

At times, it seems like this is stupidly easy and at others insanely difficult. I am playing on the Superstar level with shooting ranged from 15-45 from the field. I seldom hit a midrange jump shot. I hit about 15% from 3 PT range but the computer seems to score them all the time (yes, I realize no 3 point line in 1976). Maybe I just need to spend more time with the ball and find an open j.

Besides the lack of range shots, the stats for this quarter where remarkably realistic--except for blocks, which are a breeze to get at any setting (although you should attempt to miss blocking, because 9 times in 10 in this game it winds back up in the offense and most of the time they score, it is better to miss entirely and just get your hand in the shooters face).

The 12 minute quarter here finished down 29-31, by the way. Leading scorers were: Charlie Scott (10, CPU), Garfield Heard (9, me), Curtis Perry (8, me), John Havlicek (7, CPU), Dave Cowens (6 CPU), Paul Westphal (6, me). Then the PC scored the next 13 points in the 2nd period. I was down by in excess of 20 in the 3rd and gave up!

I think this is the best game for basketball ever created!!! No photo to describe players, it always uses avatars. Superbe graphic and maximum action.
