  • A blocked nose? No. Some people are just puerile.

I assume you're from the West Coast. The accent is flatter. There's no twisting of the vowels and dipthongs or clipping the endings of some words (I'm from southern New England). I have heard that different areas of California will prolong the last syllable of some words. Hearing it clues me in with, "Yup, California."

  • Nope, I'm from the great lakes. Grew up in a suburb of Detroit. My dad did get a job in Quincy Mass for a while, we lived in Sharon Mass for a few years (6th thru 9th grade). Then we moved back to Michigan, grandparents and everything. Now I live in a suburb of Flint.
