Il M° R. Muti ci regala ancora una volta una squisita prova della sua infinita malleabilità musicale e infinità capacità direttiva-cooperativa con pubblico e orchestra e la sua capacità di trasmettere direttamente al cuore le emozioni che mossero lo stesso Strauss quando scrisse la Marcia: BRAVO!

None you knows what you are missing. I got this to see Muti bouncing around, with his hair flying, and we got to see him for about six seconds. He puts on a real show, and the filmer kept showing the orchestra.
Heck, we can HEAR that, but, you should see Muti, and didn't.

No ! Karajan was a magnificent conductor, the best for Verdi's Requiem for instance. But he had not "die Wiener Stimmung". His conducting was to "german" , to serious and even heavy for Strauss music...
