  • Guys do you have any idea that if you order this cymbal from GAK

Whether it comes in brilliant finish or natural finish? because there's not an option to choose which one you'd prefer =[

    thanks!

  • My advice is to buy from us, we'll get you the right one. ;^) But seriously, it's available either way; my guess is that traditional finish would be standard.

  • i raelly like the definition and ping of this ride. tad long on the overtones, but how does it handle when you crash it?

  • Yeah, at 3200+ grams, it's probably not the ideal crash ride. (Unless you're playing *really* heavy music.) I'd recommend a thinner ride if you want something more multi-purpose. Thanks for watching!

  • @SupraJin Mine did. Sam Ash exclusively carries a AA cymbal pack with 21"RBDR 16" & 19" Medium Thin Crashes, and 14" Medium Hi-Hats in brilliant finishes. But it seems as though the brilliant model is very hard to come by anywhere besides in that Sam Ash exclusive pack. Traditional cymbals don't look out of place though with brilliant. I have an 18" AA extra thin crash and a 16" AA fast chinese, both in a traditional finish, and they blend in great with the rest of my cymbals.

  • what should i get, this ride or the 22" AAX metal ride?

  • This is a great ride cymbal. It sounds good when played softly or loudly. It seems to be the perfect all-around ride cymbal. The bell is pretty nice too....It sounds great when playing jazz especially.

  • @SonyPS325 it doesn't crash at all :o

  • that's not very dry is it?

  • @noreaction1 This is apparently a really versatile ride and it is only 265 US. I've heard the HHX groove ride is really nice sounding too but it is more expensive.

  • I'm looking for a ride that would sound good with reggae/ska and hard rock, any suggestions?

  • holy shit that bell is powerful

  • I'm looking for a ride like this but a bit cheaper, about £120, any suggestions?

  • @SonyPS325 actually this ride crashes fairly well depending on how you do it

in this video the crash doesnt sound good because they hit it right on the edge but if hit with the shank of the stick on the bow of the ride almost in a sweeping motion you can get a nice crash sound but still as they said its not your best option for a crashing ride
