The rich are already the ones carrying much of the burden, so if we tax them more, who will generate new jobs, and launch new industries? At this rate we will look like the old Soviet Union where everyone was poor except the politicians.

If they say it will be $850 billion, you know that you will have to multiply that by a number to get the true cost. Politicians don't underestimate the cost of some thing like this when they are trying to sell us on the idea Even if they could somehow make health care cheaper, I wouldn't want their version of health care.

i love it! the way to economic freedom is to make every transaction more expensive. Corporate tax is 2nd highest in the world. Then if we tax the rich more and more then they will love to stay in this country. Why wouldn't someone create a new business with more jobs in a country with the highest taxes.
I got a great idea to avoid the war tax, stop going to war!
