A dolphin is back in open waters thanks to SeaWorld Orlandos Animal Rescue Team. On March 31, the group carried out an eight-hour rescue and relocation operation for the male dolphin that managed to swim into the Tomoka River in Ormond Beach, FL.

  • This was a great rescue but unfortunatly i saw another dolphin about 100 yards further up river from that location today

  • @trainengineer2 $eaworld should 2 the right thing and retire him 2 a sea pen!good luck with finding your heart and some knowledge about the suffering!

  • @trainengineer2 your vets are not there 24/7 and as i said be4 no vet was present at dixies labour. i dont need 2 work there 2 see that the animals suffer if we have not seen at recent event like with tilikum the amount of stress that orca is under he has no family ties 2 any whales at the park he comes out at the end of each show just 2 splash the crowd and be a breeding male.but now he is left in a cramped tank doing nothing cut off from the other whales

  • @xxfab08xx You have to work to work there to really understand that our animals dont suffer. And BTW only 3 whales have died from being still born in the many yearts we have been open. When our animals are giving birth we try to let them have it as wild as possible and if something is complicated our vets that are there 24/7 help them. Im done with you sir!!

  • @trainengineer2 what can any 1 learn 4r going in2 a place that holds animals in cramped tanks when in the wild these animals would swim up 2 a 100 miles a day absolutely nothing! i have my facts and info right its you that needs the right facts and a heart! how can you work at a place that causes so much stress and suffering 4 the animals!

  • @trainengineer2 is that so then why have so many marine animals died so young in your parks and calfs been still born or died very young.like the 3 dolphins that died in 3 week dixie gave birth 2 a still born calf with no vet during or after the birth and scarlet who went in2 labour but never gave birth her calf died inside her and then she died the list goes on of the deaths!

  • @xxfab08xx Our shows may not treach but all over the park you can learn things from just signs to our education staff, and our salt water is mad by us and is not harmful to the marine animals. We acually lenthen marine lifes' life. Our killer whales can acually live up to 10 years longer. Also we dont split up families all of our whales are with their calfs and our whale pods are all a family together. Next time you message somone get your info right!!!

  • @trainengineer2 now lets not 4get all the bad things $eaworld does 2 like spilt up family groups keep their animals in small tanks full of Chlorine stuck performing tricks that dont teach the public anything!

  • Fresh water seems to be bad for thier skin...
