  • Give the drummer some...he is wicked...Peace.

  • This is just awesome...Peace.

  • Did not know he has passed away until I read it here! So sad to know that and there will never be another to take his place in his style of sax!

  • I have been a Grover Washington Jr. fan since the 80's and this video ex He has it all! Good sax, good looks, great music! And great charisma!

  • I saw Grover Washington, Jr. perform in Rochester NY years ago, he was awesome, will be greatly missed.

  • RIP Ralph MacDonald!!

  • RIP Grover, Eric, RIchard, Paul, and now Ralph Macdonald :( I learned so much from you!!!

  • Great

  • @RAWRDJBEAR How could anyone give this a thumbs down? This is perhaps my favorite Grover Washington performance. I am from Philly and very upset I never saw him live. He left us so suddenly. Just bought the CD 'to Grover with Love' by Jason Miles. Not a plug of any kind just a recommendation of a great CD of Grovers music. Mr Magic is haunting that I cant get out of my mind.

  • Grover pioneered the way for your top solo sax players of today. I remember when I performed with Grover live at the Jazz workshop in Boston many, many moons ago. At that time he mentioned he never performed with a guitarist but was willing to try it out.. The crowd loved it. He liked the idea so much he subsequently added a rhythm / lead guitar player to his band. I'm grateful glad to have performed with Grover for one full set. We all miss the late great Grover Washington Jr..
