Oh thanks for replying after a year. It's a trick where you pick the laptop gun, throw it on the wall and just before it sticks, pause real fast and switch to the weapon you want to improve, then press pause again before the laptop gun sticks and the laptop gun sentry will be there even when you're using a different weapon so it shoots targets for you.
