@LucidFaia Brock is my cousin and he does deserve our respect and admiration. But I must tell you that God has been at the center of the Mealer Family for many generations. Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto thy own understanding. In all they ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." Romans 8 Vs. 37 " Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."

God bless you Shelly! David was my cousin. Brock and Elliott are my 2nd cousins. I am meeting all of you here today for the first time. My Dad and Uncle George were brothers. I think they loved each other as much as your sons love each other Shelly!!

God had nothing to do with it. Brock walks again because he busted his ass, not because an invisible man living in the sky - where was he when the car accident happened? - decreed that Brock would walk.
Brock is the one who deserves our respect and admiration, not some superstition.

Exactly, the "hatred" should stay reserved for the football game, it is amazing to see someone overcome something like that, no matter what team you root for.
