In sparring you will notice its not pretty and fancy, I really don't like to use the word SPAR because it is like a consent to exchange blows, when acutually im attacking the attacker and Im doing most of the hitting, in other words no matter what he does im always trying to hit and never let him get set, I asked my partner a few times during training to commit more and he was trying but he was getting hit, sparring is as close to an actual fight as you can get and its important, I also found that if you intercept and be offensive more than defensive, it keeps your opponent guessing and dosen't let him get set, also note* I couldn't kick to the groin so I kicked the leg instead but wouldv'e been the groin in a real fight also eye jabs would change things as well, this was our 2nd round of sparring this day so I decided to film it.

  • Dose the other guy feel comfortable with that bike helmet on ?

And how hard are you really hitting him ?

how long did you train to get so professional?

  • @Theninja80291 Yeah the helmet is used for protection, you still feel the shock of the strike though, im hitting him hard enough to where he knows he got hit lol but wasn't trying to seriously injur my partner your not suppose to, it is just sparring you play but play seriously, ive been training off and on for years now, but with an instructor Ive trained back in the year 2000 with an instructor and also 10 hrs at a seminar to be an apprentice instructor which is basics.

  • your one of the best fighters ive ever seen

  • NICE i loved the ending how u made him fall haha that was cool and good.

  • @AdrianAwesome69 Then you haven't seen very many fighters.. He's definitely pretty decent tho.

  • thanks for your reply it really helped me ?

  • @rabloa Kool you understand what I meant, keep training and hey thanks for the comment.

  • nice work,i understand the word sparring doesnt paint the right picture... i'm a jkd student also,we call it "combat free fighting"

  • @wushumaro Hey thanks for the comment, he tried though he couldn't get inside, he was trying to jab his way in to follow up with a right, but I was sensing this and didn't give him a chance to, in which you shouldn't or that would defeat the whole purpose of it, hey thanks again.

  • walking punching bag

  • @Jamievaughan15 I was going for the straight blast even though I shouldve inflicted pain on him first, but at that moment in time I sensed there was an opportunity so I took it in which you should, hey thanks for the comment bro.

  • @JKDSTORM Looks like a Wing chun chain punch, correct me if I'm wrong.

  • @selinah3 Haven't been filming lately, and haven't trained with him we are still kool, we just have different views on training.

  • hey Ray any more uploads lateley.by the way still train with malachi.

  • @nonphixional1 Hey thanks.

  • those straight blasts at approx.18 sec in were nice

  • @DavidLoveBlueJays hey thanks.

  • nice jet li punch at the end. im a boxer but my friend does uei chi ru or something. nice combos ur really good

  • @Jitkyundou Hey thanks but there was no limits or hey attack me like this before we sparred the rules was attack however you want to, but obviously I couldn't kick him in the groin lol, I was doing my best and so was he and remember he just started out training, definitley not a drill there was no okay do this or that an attack like this etc it was real sparing ;) hey thanks again.

  • @JKDSTORM I understand. Its just sparing means non-limited simulation of real fighting. You can use protective gear and stuff but the point is both sides goes 100% like if your life depend on that. In my opinion, that is sparing. Everything else is just drills... But hey- Great drill =] Great way of training pary, conter, footwork and I saw some prety good stop punches there ;) Keep doing! And when you are ready do some real sparing. I think you will be good in it!

  • @D12Detoxx Thanks bro yeah kicks can be devastating, my partner told me after training that the punches got good power but the kicks are devastating.

  • @Jitkyundou Please read my other comment thanks.
