okay, the saga of this video, should anyone care to hear it.

i began this project last winter, when i saw the tik tok video made on the air force base and thought it would be hilarious to sync the guys up to this song (even if it meant subjecting myself to hours upon hours of kesha...) however, shortly after starting, my hard drive of four years crashed and i lost everything on it (psa: back up your shit, people...). after buying a new laptop, i restarted the video on the wonderfully glitchy windows movie maker 2.6 (because i was too lazy to learn the exciting new world of windows live). once finished however, i was unable to publish the video for reasons still unknown to me. after a few months of frustrated resentment, i eventually restarted the whole project from scratch on windows live, which proved to be just as glitchtastic. recompiling the video shot for shot on a program that had to be restarted every few minutes proved so nerve-wracking that i vowed never to go back to it on several occasions (luckily, i'm a bit obsessive about these things).

tl;dr - some malevolent force in the universe /really/ didn't want this video getting made, and yet here it is before you! so i hope you take some enjoyment from it - a happy 4pp community is well worth the effort : D

(also, the delay allowed me to re-edit and include jack, who had not yet made an appearance when i started XD perhaps it was fate all along...)
