CSX W822-15 seen at the Southend of Waxhaw at the NC/SC stateline, pacing between Mineral Springs and Monroe,NC, and Wingate,NC with 3 BNSF C44-9W's running elephant style on a military train.

  • This is a great pacing stretch. I passed by here going to Waxhaw and Monroe Yard many times. I have yet to pace a train here. It is great until you get to Monroe. Then you have to wait for the stoplight. At 5:29 I would like to live in that house!

  • Nice!! That was definately quite a catch, it is not too often you'll find a trio of BNSF units on the CSX although many of them have been on the CSX. The best part was definately the pacing and you did great!!
