  • I'm glad you finally found your niche, Eric... if you decide to start yet another band, I think you should go punk and call yourselves The Ratones so Pomeroy will have some competition in the category of Manhattan Bands Sharing Names With Streets.

  • Yes. I used to live on Ratone! (or Rat One, as we called it.)

  • I loved it. It was #4 on my faves of the year. JD thought it was mediocre, but loved Max Von Sydow's performance.

  • if i had to pick second place for song it would be so close from enchanted. But Once is one of my favorite films of the year.

  • Amy Adams was defiantly robbed of an Oscar this year. If she was nominated, I think that she would've won.

  • Pooping the shorts, nice

  • You guys rule!!! Can I hang out with you?

I disagree with J.D., I think Javier Bardem's character was terrifying and deserves an Oscar. Everytime he came onscreen,(EX: When Woody Harrelson's character is going up the stairs at his hotel, and Bardem's character appears behind him) you knew some shit was about to go down.

    Also, JONNY GREENWOOD got snubbed.

  • Speaking of Casey Affleck, I was really hoping he'd pull off a "Best Actor" nod for GONE BABY GONE (i.e. best film of 2007 imo!)

Yeah...I know it was a pipe-dream, but still. Bardem's definitely getting it. If anyone gets the "career" win this year, it'll be Ruby Dee for AMERICAN GANGSTER. But that's an "if!"

  • What did you guys not like about The Diving Bell and the Butterfly?
