that's what they're meant to do, the message-passing software (or middleware) handles splitting up the applications to run across all the nodes.
unless this is a load balancer (failover) not a high-performance? i haven't watched this video yet.

fap fap fap....
it would have been fun to have like 3 workstations that share resources (CPU power and mem) so there is _less_ slow down in any of the workstations...
