Petit Jean Song

This is a song inspired by the legend of Petit Jean, as told on the plaque on Petit Jean mountain in Arkansas. About a young man (Chavet) who sails to the new world to claim land, while leaving his beautiful bride-to-be (Adrienne) back in France. But, unbeknownst to him, she has slip on board dressed as a boy. The men on the boat call her Petit Jean (Little John), and no one discovers the truth until she becomes ill and dies after reaching America.
