One of the most successful and critically acclaimed jazz musicians to come to prominence in the 1970s and '80s, he is the leader of the Pat Metheny Group and is also involved in duets, solo works and other side projects. His style incorporates elements of progressive and contemporary jazz, post-bop, latin jazz and jazz fusion.[1] Pat Metheny has three gold albums and 17 Grammy Awards.[2] He is the brother of jazz flugelhornist and journalist Mike Metheny.

My brother put this track on after my mother passed away many years ago.He remarked"It reminds me of that time and how she was truly on her journy going home"

@boswell69 This is my favorite song on this album. Our original copy (from the late 80s) became scratched so we bought a new CD, but it was the "remastered" version. The dynamic range in the song was reduced. The effect of an approaching train in the beginning was lost. Luckily I found a ripped copy on an old hard drive. As usual, a great musical selection by @boswell69!
