Benchmade 51 Morpho - Balisong Review - Part 1

Hey Guys Thanks For watching my review on the Benchmade model 51 balisong!! I know its pretty long winded, I did my best, And I didn't even fit all the clips into the two parts. Like I always say, I love your feedback, good or bad, so let me know what you thought.

I'm thinking about getting this knife (on amazon.com), and it costs 171 dollars, my birthday is on the 14th of february, and this will be my first balisong in the 50-100 dollar range. Do you think its worth it?

What happened to cutlerylover says account closed? I just got a 51 from bladeplay and I noticed the balisong stamp is low and offset is this a production error or something common for this model?

@timesplitingking Yeah I noticed that. I hope he comes back. Anyway. The 51 often does come with the symbol in the wrong general area. It is a production error. I have seen a few cases like that. Just contact benchmade, they should replace it for free.

hey calvin. i wanna know. Im getting this knife soon, and theres a posibility of it dropping quite alot with a few new aerials im gonna try with it. Will the G-10 be able to hold the knife up?

@igloo77881 It will hold up for a lifetime if you treat it well. Just dont flip above concrete and youll be fine.

@CalviNNation I'm still kind of scared of spending 200 on a knife. When you use the locking mechanism do you ever notice any weakness in it after closing and opening it? It looks like it may serve problematic to me since i will be carrying the knife everywhere i go and it will have to be closed to prevent it from cutting through my pants.

Since the benchmade model 42 has been discontinued and the model 51 has dropped in price, and with the new benchmade model 62 coming out, have you heard anything about the 62, and would you have an idea of which one would be better between the 51 or the 62?
