what difference it makes if you insert a competition insert?

hey guys just ordered my hmf comp series for my 2004 kodiak 450 I'm adding a K&N air filter too. Just wondering if u could tell me where my jetting should be at. Thanx again!!

@TheFamousFury Air box lid off start with a 48 pilot and 165 main jet.

@2008raptor350man For the Polaris Outlaw 525 Solid Rear, HMF recommends starting with a 150 Keihin Hex Main Jet. Depending on your location or other mods done to your machine you may need to adjust it further.

@wolfmancry101 We have not done any testing with other manufacturer’s head pipes. I can suggest that if the other brand head pipe works with the stock muffler section, it should work with HMF’s slip on. This is not guaranteed for any model or any brand aftermarket head pipe.
