Now THIS is the "Jeopardy!" I grew up on. I was so sad when NBC took Jeopardy! off the air on January 3, 1975. I wish NBC hadn't destroyed the old tapes. I would have loved to see more of Jeopardy! hosted by Art Fleming.
Holy crap! I remember coming home for lunch from school and my Mom would be watching this every day without fail. Art was great and never made the contestants feel like idiots. Thanks for posting!
Alex Trebek is currently "Mr. Jeopardy!" but Art Fleming probably had that title before the current version debuted, this includes the original run of Jeopardy! from 1964 to 1975 as well as the nine year gap until 1984 when the current version debuted.
This is great what a great trip down memory lane

@Angie2343 see a 1978 episode of Jeopardy! It has the same bell that sounds just like the 1975-1989 Final Spin Cue.

1:02 to 1:04, I'd better give the Wheel a final spin!

@Parkwaymania I can just hear Art saying, "RIGHT! GOOD for you!" and "YOU select!!!" He puts Trebek in the shade, as far as I'm concerned.
