  • Aww, I think DeNiro's words mean more to Scorcese than anyone else because they have been working together, collaborating even, from the beginning. Scorcese looks truly moved and humbled here. What a great director.

  • I dont get why they give Robert that ovation and not Pesci, they both been in many of Martys films and are both great actors!

  • @MonroeSmile Hi weasel :)

  • I can not believe he read, he is an actor (and one of the best), there could at least ACT PS = it still put the WONDERFUL (which was really cute) speech on cards, he could have wrote on papers, but no it was in cards.

    deserves some consideration kakakak

  • de niro somehow is better and martin semess to like him most and de niro is more famous

  • @livvw lol ya he had to be giving that to someone

  • 0:51 giving the middle finger.

  • @iaintmadatcha I can see where you're coming from but the Pesci has been in 3 of Scorsese's films and DeNiro has been in 8.

  • Would it have killed him to memorize those lines instead of reading from the cards?

  • @iaintmadatcha No way! Pesci is a really, really good actor. But he isn't great like De Niro. Pesci's best work was Scorsese, and he had a small part in another masterpiece "Once Upon A Time In America", and starred in good films like Home Alone & My Cousin Vinny. But, he is not a film acting icon like De Niro. I hate saying that, because Joe rules, I'm a big fan. But face it, De Niro is one of the greatest of all time, and his best work is stuff most actors wished they could called their own.

  • Standing ovation, that´s respect De Niro have deserved. Joe Pesci is not in the league like Scorsese/De Niro.

  • @iaintmadatcha man, pesci's great and all, but de niro's status far exceeds legendary and has starred in more of scorsese's pictures, notably two of the greatest films ever made, taxi driver and raging bull. it's a collaboration as timeless as john ford / wayne
