John will always be one of my favourite characters. He just loved Mary too much to let go, and he just never realised his obsession was like poison, and it was hurting his sons, until it was too late.
He died trying to protect them.
He may not have been the perfect father, but he had good intentions.

Robyn, what can I say? This is the perfect tribute to John Winchester, full of all his greatest hits. I love how you paid equal attention to his love for both the boys and for Mary, something I've never been able to do. This is going to be impossible to top.
