Germany is even more screwed than Britain. Your manufacturing sector is the only thing keeping you afloat, and you have a shrinking population. That is like driving a car towards a cliff edge.

No, the empire is not taught in our schools here, although that may have changed since I left, it's been some time now.

Would it be good to fight against France or better to provoke a war beetwen continental european countries. So the empire were not involved and loose ships or soldiers. Easy answer buddy. And in school you don´t learn about the empire? Nothing about the opium wars or india or your intriging in arababic states?

Secondly, every idiot who has read into the matter knows as a fact that it was in British interests to sustain a balance of power in Europe so that no single country could dominate the continent and thereby threaten the British mainland. We did everything we could to avoid continental wars.

@loveandpeace71 Completely wrong, Britain's foreign policy was to avoid European wars at all cost, so that the world order held together by our empire would not be disturbed. Our role in starting any of the world wars was minimal.

America is the Superpower nation. I wonder how China will manage this role in the future. I suppose they will be worse. England was it for centuries and they intriged in other European countries and provoked wars for the balance of power. Also not very honourable. The chinese are in one case better they don´t believe in God.
