  • In England we use Elips pellets (best) or Halibut pellets, very good bait for barbel. Type Hinders in google to source them

  • These guys only tried this twice before filming them.

  • do you think that wary and pressured barbel would react the same way ?

john wilson on a pressured river said they do react sociably even being able to cradle one in his arms ?

  • yes i think they would, they would probably spook at the sound of a lead or feeder hitting the water but would tolerate a diver in the swim as they have no reason to associate this with danger ?

  • amazing ive seen this amount of barbel in england but dont think i could get that close without scaring them

  • Can you please tell my what is the best food for barbel. Thank's i love to fish them catch and relase,in my country we use worms, bread, chease(very god),and water grass. If you have some better baits please tell me. Thanks :)

  • they let you pet them, that's great haha

  • That's a pretty cool vid.

  • Certainly one of the best videos i have seen. I used to fish and shoot but don't anymore. Gave it up about 15 years ago. Who in their right mind would want to catch these beautiful creatures and drag them out of their own environment?

  • This is pretty cool. Wow, what river was this filmed in?

  • @Stubarbel most fish are not scared of you when your in the water with them, especially if your feeding them.

  • and I cant catch these going fishing...

  • They are happy fish
