  • cn we use normal guitar string to install into guitarlele?

  • @Warnisari Yes. But it may be low tension. I recommend high tension nylon strings.

  • how do you tune this? mine would slacks badly on standard, so i tune to A (fourth higher). sounds great, but its pretty difficult to transpose all the changes for the tune, then navigating fretboard when soloing over the changes is a bit confusing.

  • @MrGalileomagnifico

    Thank you for comments.

    I tune the guitalele to the same tuning of the normal guitar(E A D G B E).

    But in this tuning, the tension of guitar is very weak.

    If you have the guitalele and you try the tuning,

    I recommend to use the high tension strings(ex. D'Addario EJ45)

    and shift the strings such as 2B->1E, 3G->2B, 4D->3G, 5A->4D, 6E->5A.

  • @GoKoutaki then what should we use for the low E?

  • @MrGalileomagnifico

    I used EJ45 to 1-5 strings. And I used EJ46(Hard tension) to low E.

    Thus, two type of guitar strings set(EJ45, EJ46) are used.

    It will sound better, and larger sound volume!
