  • This is a very interesting video. Is this the beginning of the spin to rationalize and explain the thousands of possible deaths which may occur from the forthcoming, mandatory inoculation against H1N1? Testing of the vaccination only began last week on volunteer test subjects and theyre already projecting shots will be available around mid to late October.

  • B.S., Dr. Ashton is having a blonde moment...25 deaths and hundreds of people were injured from this vaccine in 76. The government paid out millions to people due to lawsuits.

  • Vaccine Liberation Army.com... Vaccine 911.com.. VacLib. org... Lotsa great web sites out there... Learn the history of vax & the alternatives.. It is about your health- a priceless thing.. Simple logic & common sense says- DO NOT POISON THE BLOODSTREAM!.. Is only ignorant or psychopaths who would say otherwise........ “We have not lost faith, but we have transferred it from God to the medical profession” GEORGE BERNARD SHAW

  • And I'm glad you brought up herd immunity. This phenomenon is the product of mass vaccination. There was a decline in herd immunity to MMR when people got scared of the vaccine and more cases were observed. Herd immunity is not a preventative measure. It is the product of vaccination of the many that provides some protection to the few who aren't. But it doesn't work well with seasonal flu because the mutation rate completely changes the immunity of the herd every year.

  • @Spetsop Please give me some detailed examples of what you are saying. I think there are a lot of folks in the North American health care system who would disagree that the only motive is prolonging of life, not cure.

  • @Spetsop What do you do in the medical field?

  • @yallsostoopid

If a person is that immunodeficient, then seasonal flu is the least of their worries. They would already be on a cocktail of medication to prevent a barrage of other much more serious opportunistic infections that can affect them year round. And they are always the first priority when it comes to seasonal vaccines long before the virus begins to infect the population in sufficient enough numbers.

  • @Spetsop Hold your surprise and stick to the topic. This is not about herd immunity. Some people are too immunodeficient to quickly mount a strong response to the vaccine. Therefore it is the responsibility of caregivers to do what they can to reduce their risk of viral transmission. On herd immunity, it doesn't play out the same way with a novel virus. One's chances of dying without underlying conditions are higher. Therefore, vaccinating a whole population has its advantages.

  • @yallsostoopid

"Then it would infect someone who has underlying conditions." Hence my point, vaccinate those people, and even IF they come into contact with the healthy individual who is infected but does not display the symptoms yet, they will be protected. As a microbiologist I'm sure you know what herd immunity is and would agree that you do not have to vaccinate every individual in a group for it to work. On the flip side, I am surprised you fail to see the point I'm trying to make here.

  • @alreltney I wouldn't invade Ann Coulter's body with Sean Hannity's penis.

  • @greekgoddessify For God's sake, man. Try not to bite the men in the white coats when they come to give you your meds. This is some of the craziest bullshit I've ever heard.

  • @Spetsop Why don't you stop and think about what in the damn hell you are saying to me? If I get a yearly vaccine, then I keep that immunity. That means none of the high incidence seasonal strains will attack me if I was previously vaccinated. Meanwhile, we require those with patient contact to get them, not for themselves, but because they can spread it before becoming symptomatic. Then it would infect someone who has underlying conditions. And that would be totally irresponsible.
