What is The Atheist Experience?

The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas geared at an atheist and non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin (ACA), a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

Additionally your co-host's mic is very hot and is distorting/clipping. You should set the level based on her loudest speaking volume so it doesn't clip. Excellent show, hopefully you won't take my comments the wrong way, just trying to help.

Tip for host, you can get a "cough" button that cuts your mics when you press it. Radio show hosts use them, they're quite handy.

@setmedic obviously he doesnt believe that part because it doesnt give him a warm fuzzy. how childish is it for a person to believe anything that pleases them and to reject that which does not, though only the latter is supported by evidence? man is a cowardly and childish escapist.

What this caller terms 'belief' is not belief. It is the loftiest of Hope. He hopes that his version of 'God' exists. He doesn't have the intellectual integrity to discard this 'hope' because he is emotionally partial to that which gives him 'warm fuzziness'.

The caller sounds like a form of "agnostic" who is happy being that way, but he sort of realizes that he is leaning to being an atheist. This makes him uncomfortable, but does he really want convincing to be atheist?

I often take the approach to people who want to believe & are happy to not try to convince them otherwise. I don't pressure or try to convince them to not believe. I've also know folks who I want them to believe, as it is the only thing that keeps them in line from hurting others.
