I mean, yeah I guess if this were a high school, community, or even some college shows she'd be pretty good, but certainly not for this level of supreme theatre. There's nothing about her voice or movements that really grip the audience.

Also, her calling shows "Broadways"... gets me every time.

i imagine she was probably super nervous and didn't let loose as much as she could have. which is understandable.

I think vocally she's fine and when she's actually dancing she does pretty good but she's not bringing that Fosse spunk into the moves and she's not sassy enough. It's like she's afraid to go there or something. I just wanted more.

oh dear. she didn't pull this role off, and i actually really like ashlee and her voice. she didn't have enough pizazz in my opinion. stick to recording studios, babygirl!

She's boring in this role. Her voice is mediocre, and it's not like these are challenging songs. She's terrible at the choreography (she's out of sync and her form is loose and sloppy.) She doesn't even know the correct name for musicals.

I'm an actress living in NYC and it's so disheartening to see roles like this go to people who can't perform them as well as some of my colleagues but who have some sort of box office pull.

Actually you are the stupid one. My roommate is a theater major. You do not call a musical/play, even if it started on broadway, a broadway. Right now she is ON broadway performing in Chicago, which is not a broadway. When she was in London it was just a play. Why do you think so many are saying that what she is saying is wrong. Google it before you insult people.
