@xSpadezHD Fuck Avon: SOUND OF NORTH!! I don't care if you guys won 3 times in a row: all that says is that you have money. And also, you're 11 months late because I don't give a fuck about rudimental/marching percussion anymore, since the only real career in that is teaching. Conversely, I am going to college on a scholarship where I am studying drum-set under one of the most sought-out clinicians, recording, and Broadway drummers to walk the streets of NYC. So no, I am not jealous at all.
@IPstixrawesume this isnt sped up because i live where he teaches at Avon and we have won nationals 3 times in a row and i have met Jeff Queen he has played right in front of me faster than this so ur prolly just jealouse and if it was sped up look at his facial expressions they dont change fast and the audience clap would be alot faster and some of them even talk so its not sped up.
@IPstixrawesume agreed, but sometimes when videos are uploaded of poor quality they get compressed and eventually appear like like this. but yes this not true play back speed no way.
I disagree. He just did this at my school on Thursday, and it doesn't seem different. Plus if it was sped up, all the noise in the video would be slightly raised, which I did not hear. If you want to hear this live, he is doing a preformance at Butler next Friday. It includes this, and other movements on the marimba (sp?), timpani, an indian pot thing, and one other thing, which I don't remember the name. But check it out, it was entertaining!
I know Jeff is fast, but honestly, this video was tampered with: it's sped up even more. What was played he totally could play, but the body movements were unnaturally fast.
