  • @lahziivee in order to become a dentist in the military or in the civilian sector in general, you need to complete a bachelor's degree followed by 4 years of dental school at an accredited institution. There is no "training up" in the AF.

  • @lahziivee the main denistry work....such as surgery and orthodontis work is done only by officers...the enlisted is usually the dental assistants.

  • I am really wanting to go into the air force for possible dental assistant or even dental lab but if I do that, while in the air force, could I train to go up to a dentist or is that for officers only?
