Sydney Drag Queen Diva, Maxi Shield, has been performing professionally for the past 8 years across the broad spectrum of Sydney nightlife and beyond. Making a living going against the rules of society in the most entertaining and fabulous way possible, she also stands out within the much more select group of professional drag queens in appearance, performance style and attitude. Maxi has broken away from the stereotype to become a highly visible face of Sydney entertainment and the gay community as a whole. Working tirelessly on issues such as street-safety and self-esteem while raising the profile of these issues within the community through her radio, print and stage platforms, Maxi Shield is as high profile and progressive as she is fabulous.
