I am black and I know that no one alive needs to apologize for slavery. History is history! People have a right to their opinions whether it is bigotry or white supremacy. However, I think I speak for many when I say I don't care in the least about people who hate me and/or my race. Most of us are living our lives as we like whether it is liked by other's or not. Those who like to vent they're distastes to people who don't care to hear it have the issue. Just live your life!

slavery left a legacy, and prejudice still does exist. The socioeconomic degradation of african americans did not disappear in 1865. After Union Troops left, Southern legislatures did the utmost to repress African Americans. There is still huge inequalities in America from that time. Though no one today is responsible for what occurred back then, we all have to live with social and economy inequalities and their consequences. Please keep that in mind.

Can we all get over it already? Comedy aside, nobody watching this nor the two characters in it have anything to be sorry or angry about. Slavery is dead and so are the people who experienced it. Slavery in the US doesn't exist anymore and hasn't since 1865. Let it AND whatever self-imposed guilt you may have, go.

@TheBiancaStarr Ummm If they have money for cable TV, new shoes and clothes, eating out , night clubs, booze, a car and auto insurance, a phone, the internet, etc. etc., they have the ABILITY to sacrifice some of the above and SAVE for the trip. It's all about how MUCH you WANT something. Blacks are the most racist of all of the American race cultures. They are also the most bigoted. This is easily seen by their voting records. Conservative voting blacks are the exception.
