When I heard this song for the first time in '89, I knew I was slain. This is Melissa's best song and one of my personal top ten of all time.

First saw Melissa in 1988 when she was supporting Huey Lewis and The News at the NEC in Birmingham. She was FANTASTIC!!! Best concert i have ever been to. I know that its easy to say after the event, but it looked so obvious even back then that she was destined to have a big career. Also saw her the following year (i think) in Manchester, where Andrew Cash was supporting her, and that was another fantastic gig. Quite small venue so was able to get really close. Very happy memories!!!!!

I first heard this song as a soundtrack to the movie Roxie Carmichael something, the movie was very easy to forget but not the song.I remember pausing the VCR to see the artist and have been hooked on Melissa Etheridge since then!!!!
