  • Do you still have this sub? If so don't get rid of it! And just to let you know a good 1k-1.5k can get this thing moving pretty damn good so get a nice budget 1.5k amp and you should be wanging like hell!

  • @spencerearl1996 Nah me and my friend shot the fuck out of it cuz it sucked.

:P JUST KIDDING BRO, DONT WORRY :P I got it all hooked up in the car and its banging. Only problem is, I don't have an amplifier yet that can fully power this beast. Right now I'm running it on a 2k max amplifier, but I have it wired a little below the lowest impeadance load it can handle, but I'm keeping the gains very low so its NOT hurting anything. But soon I'll be getting a bigger amp. But for now its still LOUD

  • What amplifier are you running?

  • @cardboardcat15 Running a US amps 2,000 watt monoblock, but thats changing by around this november, looking at either a crescendo audio 3kwp, or a Hifonics HIFI3000.D, depends on how much money I get from my job, its kinda hard for me being 15, I do have a job, but it doesn't pay like a full job, so gotta see when the time comes. These TC's demand ALOT of power. And thats in the end a reason why I so very need the 0 ga. wire from this contest! It'd help me with my system, since money is tight!

  • @masterwolf1212 Ahh, Well if I were you I would stay away from the HFI line from Hifonics, from what I've heard and read, they don't do rated. The crescendo line of amps are far better, and IIRC from when the Cresendo website was still up, all of their amps are rated at 13.8 not 14.4 which is a plus. Just my opinion though! The crescendo is probably gonna cost you a bit more, however. Do you have any sort of upgraded electrical? secondary battery/big 3/ H/O alt?

  • @cardboardcat15 The HIFI is a great budget series. And im on a budget :P I've always heard good about Hifonics, but I can look into the hifi, see if its a bad amp. Im aiming to go with the crescendo, because, you are right, they actually rate it at a reasonably voltage, cause not everyone maintains 16volts at 10,000 watts :P I did the big 3 on my alt, and have a second XS battery, might actually get another 2, so I have 4 batts total. But electrical is upgraded. Crescendo is what I want

  • @bassl0va Whoops, I should say next to the RE MT 15. That thing has me beat by a few inches :P

  • @bassl0va Ahahaha, thanks man!!! Glad you got around to seeing it! Yeah, im in looove with this thing, gonna make an enclosure next weekend, at my summer home! 4 cubes before displacement, 3.5 after, 6" aeroport tuned to 32hz, might go 8" later on, but yeah, expect more vids. Also probably gonna cash in for a Kodak Zi8, as you can see this is one of the most pathetic video cameras on the earth, so a Zi8 has now become not a want, but a neccesity. :P Oh, and this sub is one of the beefiest 15's:P

  • You call that a subwoofer? It's a joke! What a piece of crap! Get a real system! Haha jk mate. Damn nice sub there! Jeez it's pretty damn beefy!

  • @spencerearl1996 thanks, yeah TC's are well known for that, they have a phenomenal efficiency, so yeah takes nothing to get em loud. And if I get this wire, of course, I'll have a solid 2k going to it. Thanks for the offer of the box design, but I actually, as you saw, already got the wood cut, its gonna be 3.5 cu ft after displacement, so being a quarter of a cu. ft off shouldn't be too bad, but I could always change the tuning- I know TC's love low tuning, but don't wanna screw up displacement
