i remember this song!! i was in H.S when it first came out! here is the sad part of my story my girlfriend broke up with me bcuz her parents didnt want me around her! so i keept playing over and over this song! now that i find it again wow it brings back sad memorys for me!!

talent is talent no matter where who sings it. out of shalamar you got the moonwalk from jeffery daniels for m. jackson and i have seen jeffery moonwalk( forward) and backwards all across the stage on the song pop along kid in huntsville,al and that was some wild shit to see that for the first time ever!!!!!!

This is actually a far better song than MOST of the songs the Jody/Howard/Jeffrey trio came out with. This song hit #11 on the R&B Charts, the lyrics/rap was on point, the beat was SICK, and it was addictive. This song did real well.

i dont know why people are here hating on this song....this song was the shiot back then...people act like they were not living and listening to the radio back then....this song did really well on the charts.....i was a kid and i remember i was like 8 years old....i am 31 now and i know it....and i work in radio now.... : )
