Yes it starts standard with 3 but I opped out for four gigs and the 8800m gts 512mb and yes the game runs just as well with the 7,200 rpm hd as a desktop pc.

So for the gateway 172sfx, it comes with 3 gigs of ram right? And did the game run just as well on the 7200 rpm HD?
