I know and you know what else? I am so sick of "I'm not racist, but this is funny" and then the person says something so offensive and assumes I agree with them because I am white. My son whose father is black deals with this too and struggles with correcting the person ( who may be in a power position) or just not acknowledging it-people are so hateful against others. Now there are people saying horrible things about others in my community that are from India.

I am ashamed for my race for what happened then.We were fools..Deep wounds heal the slowest. I was born in 63 , and where I grew up in A.Z....I never saw the pain dealt first hand...But to see how we treated Blacks , makes me more aware now more than ever , to do like Jesus.....Love One Another........In Gods eyes,..we are all the same....
